Certifications
Quality, purity, authenticity.
Today’s conscious consumer wants more than just a great product; they want confidence and confirmation that any claims made about its origin, content, or sustainable nature are backed up, verified, and validated.
Standard Fiber understands the importance of assuring that the products we manufacture are healthy, safe, and genuine. From ensuring the organic status of textile to verifying that a product contains no harmful substances, Standard Fiber participates in many certification programs. It is a licensed provider of many of today’s exclusive fabrics and innovations.
Fair Trade Certified
The Fair Trade Certified™ seal represents thousands of products, improving millions of lives, protecting land and waterways in 62 countries and counting. Purchases have sent $846 million to farmers and workers since 1999.
OEKO-TEX Certification
Certification according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® can ensure a decisive competitive advantage for manufacturers. It is performed uniformly around the world by the independent OEKO-TEX® institutes and is applicable to textile products of all processing steps, from the thread to the end product.
Certified Down and Feather Testing
IDFL Institute and Laboratory is the global leader in filled textile quality assurance services. Since 1978, we have tested and inspected both natural and synthetic-filled products. IDFL provides a complete set of QA services for outerwear, bedding, bulk textiles, and bulk filling materials.
Flame Retardant Compliance
CPSC is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with using the thousands of types of consumer products under the agency’s jurisdiction. CPSC’s work to ensure consumer products’ safety – such as toys, cribs, power tools, cigarette lighters, and household chemicals – contributed to a decline in the rate of deaths and injuries associated with consumer products over the past 40 years.
General Conformity Certification
SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. Our comprehensive range of world-leading inspection and verification services, such as checking the condition and weight of traded goods at transshipment, help you to control quantity and quality, and meet all relevant regulatory requirements across different regions and markets.
Supima Cotton
Supima is twice as strong as regular cotton, which makes for extraordinarily resilient products. The longer fiber resists pilling, breaking, and tearing, resulting in fashion and home products that are incredibly resilient and keep their form for a longer-lasting product.
